American Lawn Mower’s 16-inch bent reel mower is efficient and effective–no unnecessary attachments, no fancy gewgaws, just a serious blade-and-reel unit of tempered alloy steel with a few height adjustments for different levels of grass. The knife blades are sharp and strong, and, though the mower is light enough to carry, it’s got enough heft for proper traction on slick grass. Assembly doesn’t take long–10 or 15 minutes is about all. The handle cushions are cushier than on some other models and especially easy to put on–unfortunately, they come off as easily as they go on.

This saved me a lot of money with my reel mower in a hardware store or golf course here in the city aged. They wanted at least $ 75, and I had to call half a dozen places, and only that! For $ 20 I have this kit, which not only let me do it quite easily (do not take a bit ', and directions are moderate), but gave me a tip on the scale of the screws on my right hand reel mower, which has found I'm out, they weren 't. I loved the suggestion to tear a thin strip of paperand hangs in the blades on both sides of mower, to see if the cleanup operation. If you do not even come close, you can not sharpen the blades must, it is possible that the disc will be adjusted closer to the cut surface must!
